We want you to get the most out of this
valuable experience
Communications
In the spirit of the event we
will ask you to put your mobile phones aside
for the week. You’ll agree that this is a
unique opportunity in which to experience
yourself in a natural surrounding.
Furthermore there is little coverage on the
remote island where we will be spending much
of our time. However, we plan to be back on
the mainland for the Monday evening and on
Wednesday evening where there will be time
for you to use the limited mobile access.
Emergency
Number
If your relatives or partner needs to get in
touch with you urgently during the week, it
is suggested they leave a message at Richard
Shuff’s house in Luing on 01852 314213 and
we will make sure that the message gets to
you. Please make sure that this is only in
case of serious emergency that they try to
contact you as it will be important for us
not to be disturbed throughout our time on
the island.
Music
A good deal of the value of this course lies
in extricating yourself from your normal
life and expanding own personal awareness.
You may wish to bring MP3 Players for the
long return train journey however there will
be no opportunity for you to listen to music
throughout much of the week. We will be
asking you to put these aside until the
final evening before we come home.
Food
We will be providing all the food you need
to eat in Scotland so there will be no need
for you to bring any food with you. If you
have any special dietary needs – other than
those you have told about already, please
let us know soonest. |
